• Master of Social Sciences, 1999.
• The Electronic Photojournalism Master’s Programme (EKJ) at the University of Tampere 1997–1999.
• Political science, journalism and economics at Åbo Akademi University in Vasa 1993–1997.

Languages
Swedish and Finnish are my native languages. I also know English and German and understand Norwegian and Danish.

Employment
• Product Manager at Scandinavia Online Passagen AB. Started as a journalist and web developer at Sirkus.com 5/1999, now Suomi24.fi and moved then on to community sections Chat, Café and Areena. I worked with the former search engine Evreka.fi a couple of years and now I'm running the Suomi24 portal.
• Page Designer at Hufvudstadsbladet daily 6/1998–3/1999.
• Reporter at Vasabladet daily 6–8/1997, 6–8/1996.
• Internet Editor at Vasabladet 9–12/1996.

Projects
• The code and a search engine for the Suomen Lehdistö magazine web site 2–3/1999.
• The backend and the code for the Finnish Newspapers Association web site 5–12/1998.
• The design of the Mediahuset web site 5/1997 (not in use anymore).

• I use Macintosh and Windows computers and Unix servers.
• My tools: Macromedia Flash 4, Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.0, Macromedia Fireworks 2.0, Quark XPress 3.32, Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Adobe PageMaker 6.52, Macromedia FreeHand 8 and a bunch of other programs.
• Familiar scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, XSSI, CSS and WML.
